This is the finest Medieval castle in Britain, IMO. The Earls of Warwick have a fascinating history. The Black Hound of Arden brought Piers Gaveston after kidnapping him from Deddington. Gaveston was given a 'mock trial' and taken out of the castle to be murdered on nearby Blacklow hill.
